Way out in the westwoods

Sunday = Fun day!!

We got out and explored the area a bit today. It was sunny and we didn't even need our down jackets. We headed out to an area about twenty minutes away called Westwoods in Guilford. Guilford appears to a nearby county where a lot of the Yale faculty live because the schools are so much better there. It is quaint and beautiful and looks really boring. Here is a link to the trails if anyone is interested: http://www.westwoodsct.com/. All of the trails around here are marked by spray painted symbols (white circle, green square, yellow triangle, etc) as you can see on one of the pictures below. We took the white circle to the green circle and then back along the blue square. Weird.

Here are a few pics of our adventure:

  5. Scope out all the good sites for when I visit. Although I may really be leaning toward a more urban experience if I am getting off that damn island.
