Cookie Monster

Bex is obsessed with baking and cooking. He has a game on the iPad where he can cook any kind of breakfast that he wants. He also has the EasyBake iPad game where he can cook up loads of delicious treats. The other day we were going to make cookies and before I even got downstairs, he had all of the ingredients out including the vanilla! It is sometimes hard for him to watch the goodies go into the oven, but then the beaters come in very handy.

    Ah, yes--rule one of a kitchen project even 65 years ago was "Put on your apron." And the big payoff at the end was getting to lick the beaters. Some things never change!

    Bex looks less tow-headed here--must have been that California sunshine, of which we have had entirely too much this "winter," as you may have heard.

    Bex and Duke would make a great culinary team. They could cook up a storm together and then fight over the beaters.
